Hi everyone,

I saw a note somewhere that Valley Games sells dice that work better for CC:A than the big chunky ones that come with the game. But a search of their website didn't turn anything up. So, does anyone know if this is correct and/or would anyone be willing to part with some "upgraded" dice for CC:A.

I have two sets of VG dice also. I love them. The metallic purple paint used for the Helmet Side is wearing off but the other die faces are unscathed. Someone suggested spraying them with some kind of clear sealant. I was too lazy to do so.

Regardless, they are far more pleasant to roll than the clunky plastic ones.

I second the praise for the Valley Games Dice. I bought three sets, clear coated them with a matt spray that the miniature guys use and they turned out great. Highly recommended.

Peace

We play with the VG dice and they are definitely better than the dice that come with the game! My only complaint (small) is that they are very light. For some silly reason I like my dice (like my chess pieces) to have a little bit of weight to them.

I picked up two sets from VG. Had to wait 7-8 weeks for them arrive... Then again, I live in Canada...

Like Derek, I prefer heavier dice, so I picked up 14 "blank" dice and glued the dice face on, using printed labels. I prefer these, and they were cheaper to make.

The mat sealant works great BTW.

Both sets are better then what came with the game.

I made my own too and they're great!

The VG dice are very nice as well.

Hi,

I bought mine in August 2007 (4 months) - haven't received them yet.
I live in Brazil but usually shipping from USA takes 1 to 2 months, I think that from Canada will not be so diferent - I think that I will never see this dice.

I tried to order CC:A dice in August approximately, I never actually got billed until November, and I eventually got the dice in late November. I think there was a period of several months when they weren't processing orders. So I think it's quite possible your dice have been shipped and will show in the next month or so.

Every time I try to buy these dice from VG, I get the screen that says they are performing some updates and that I should check back later. This has happened 4 or 5 times over the last two months or so. Anybody know what's going on?
