Best hobby, with the best people in the world. Gaming is the best!
There seems to be something about this game which inspires the lyricists in us all. Both Ted Alspach and Jonathan Degann chose to use "Oklahoma" as their music, with Ted's version being considerably more family friendly. So like the sheep that I am, I've decided to join in. My first thought was to use the music from "Rum and Coca-Cola" ("playing Agri-cola, cola!"), but then I decided to use another song from the same era, "I Got a Gal in Kalamazoo". So sing along with me!

I got the game
we all want to play.
You'll give it props
while you're growing your crops
in Agricola, cola, cola.

It's never the same.
There's a card for each day!
(Well, almost!)
Each little sheep's
gonna add to your veeps
in Agricola, cola, cola.

You wanna have some chillun'
'cause each one is willin'
to help you out.
Yes, you need 'em.
But you gotta feed 'em.
Bake! Or little Megan
must go beggin'.

Plow and sow and build and grow
your way to the top!
And to see if you've won
Count up each pasture,
score and at last you're done.
So thank Melissa
for the cards we get to use in Agricola.

And Uwe Rosenberg,
the genius who designed our Agricola.

So get your orders in
So more of us can play...
