Three corporations met on the Rubidium-rich world of BURU (my street name), broadly defined according to their colours:
- The corporation named black, but which was BLUE (Mark);
- The GREEN corporation (me); and
- The YELLOW corporation (John).

Both the BLUE and GREEN corporation CEO's were new to the cut-throat world of rubidium mining.

YELLOW landed first and quickly explored finding 2 Rubidium mines, each of strength 2. GREEN followed and was mainly successful in acquiring new rock striders. Finally BLUE landed at got 3 single strength mines, each with a fungoid or crystalline miner.

As such, YELLOW secured an early lead in rubidium and used this to take the monolith with two rock striders. At the same time, GREEN and BLUE spread out looking for more mines but only having limited luck in finding them.

BLUE acquired a rubidium dragon which advanced upon GREEN and killed a crytsalline miner from afar. This resulted in significant retaliation, involving a crsyalliod, a couple of rock striders and a lava leaper. Suffice to say the BLUE dragon was destroyed. However, noting that YELLOW ha dalso strated hungrily eyeing BLUE's territory, GREEN pulled back and consolidated, looking for an opening to take the monolith.

The monolith would be held by YELLOW for several turns, while he launched an assault on BLUE, who has further hampored as the BLUE CEO seemed to have offended the god of luck and rained 1's down upon him as he feebly attempted to repel the YELLOW invaders.

Early on, the victor was still unclear ... GREEN was slightly ahread due to his successful fighting (~3vp) with YELLOW close behind (~2vp).

BLUE consolidated forces and unleashed a whirlwind of terror to push back the YELLOW invaders (suddenly jumping to about 5vp!).

YELLOW fought back well, with BLUE often hampered by his crystalloids and fungoids being caught on the wrong terrain. YELLOW moved to about 6 VP.

GREEN then attempted to seize the monolith from YELLOW's 2 rock striders and 1 lava leaper with 2 lava leapers and 3 rock striders, but YELLOW fought well, doing more damage than he receibed and surviving with a single rock strider.

Then, YELLOW attempted his 'masterplan'. YELLOW flew a rubidium dragon deep into GREEN heartland, while growing a hoard of fungoids who teleported into GREEN heartland. Fortunately GREEN survived the attack and destroyed the invaders and seized the monolith for himself ... finally.

YELLOW and BLUE fought a mighty war along their merged border.

Then GREEN repeated YELLOW's trick of building fugoids which were then teleported to attack a far-away single BLUE human working in a mine located on a fungoid forest. At the same time, the monolith was vacated to take an unoccupied fungoid forest and anotehr attack was launched as well. Both attacks were successful and GREEN now had the most forests, taking him to 12vp ... which included about 4-5 'win a battle' VPs!
