Yog-Sothoth knows the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the key and guardian of the gate. Past, present, future, all are one in Yog-Sothoth. He knows where the Old Ones broke through of old, and where They shall break through again.

I've been listening to various VNV Nation albums.

In addition to that I've listened to the new Weakerthans album a bunch of time, The Deth Album by Dethklok, a whole bunch of Bright Eyes, and I Killed the Prom Queen a recently disbanded Australian metalcore band.

What about you guys?

Karen Zoid.

Especially "Afrikaners is Plesierig" which is just a great song. I think a lot of that has to do with the accent, though, and the perplexing mix of English and Afrikaans. I really want to get a translation!

Oh, and a lot of Gaelic Storm. They are amazing.

The Doors -- "The Soft Parade"

The gypsies had no homes, The Doors had no bass! But don't let that scare you my friend, let that liberate you. 'Cause when you're free flying with The Doors, man, what do you need a safety net for?

My roommate when on a "Doors" spree for a while. That was actually a much nicer "spree" than a lot of his other ones. Especially "Say Anything" shake

Is it... chocolate rain?

I'm listening to Arch Enemy's Doomsday Machine, on repeat. (Thanks again to Zopper-Alf for turning me on to them!!)

(I just got it today--I think now I have all their albums with Angela--and although all of their albums have some great songs, I think this one may be the most consistently awesome. I feel like I may have given myself shaken baby syndrome while listening to it earlier this afternoon.)
