Re:Alternate Two Player Variant
After playtesting the variant above, we've found that randomizing the order of the pieces played (prior to starting the game) makes it more interesting. If the pieces aren't randomized, player 1 wins, or player 2 defends and it becomes a stalemate. The easiest way to randomize pieces is to dump them out and start putting them in order from left to right, with the leading edge determining which piece goes first.
