I had opened the game a few weeks ago to read the rules, but
didn't get a chance to play until today. Players were: tom, tam,
mat, and mik. At first I searched around trying to locate the missing
sack, for I was sure one came with the game. I grabbed an extra from
my Carcassonne box, but soon realized: THERE IS NO SACK!!!

Anyway, we played a 'practice hand' to get the feel for the
interworkings of the various stages of the game. Then we
settled in for a real game.

9 rounds plays quickly but, as others have pointed out, 20 mins
is a bit on the low-side for time of a complete game.

The strangest hand we had was one where all four cards were
dogs. No cats, no rabbits, just dogs! Very strange indeed.
Everyone laughed!

Some questions:
What card do you play as first player?
What card do you play as last player?
Should you ever pass when the card that would be turned up (because of your passing) is the card you put out on the table?

Lots of fun and laughs as the game progressed.
The first game ended tied at 58, with the win going to mat after the tie-breaker.
We ended up playing two games, and the second one had tam as the clear winner with 65 points.

Will definitely play this again.
mikey.

Off course everything depends on which cards you have, but I think a small cat (3) is a good one as starting player. If you play a negative card almost everybody will pass quickly (which can also be usefull .

When I'm last I often play a big one: you can calculate of it's worth to raise the bidding or just take the money.
