Just saw the note at GMT that CC:E is now officially sold out!

It's a great game and worthy of its success! Now...how long 'til CC is finished?

With CC:Med still being produced and sold - I won't be surprised to see this hit the P500 Reprint track fairly quickly.

They gave the low stock warning recently and reported that they only had about 135 copies left. Apparently that caused some people to spring into action.

The only thing I can see being changed for the second edition -

Version 1.1 of the rules (available for download, and included in CC:Med)
Adding the crest lines back to the hills (omitted in the printing process)

Don't think there have been any other issues with the materials in CC:E that would be updated. So most likely to be just a straight reprint rather than a revised edition.

hopefully if they make a second edition it won't be so much better that I regret having bought the first.

No worries. The reprint will be identical to first edition with the following exceptions:

v1.1 rulebook included

card G-48 fixed

US cheat card fixed

hill crest outlines added to maps 11 & 12 (to aid with LOS checks where woods cross the crest).

Oh, and if the printers pay attention this time the maps will be sequentially numbered (1/2, 3/4, 5/6, etc).

Dare I ask what the error is on G-48? And what is the US cheat card?

Taken straight from the official FAQ here...
http://www.gmtgames.com/combatcomm/CC-E_Official-FAQ.pdf

Card G-48
German card G-48 has a Rout "Action" across the top where it should obviously be a Rout "Order" (like all the other cards).

American Cheat Card
All nationalities have one card that lists all the Actions contained within their fate deck on one side and the Orders on the other, as a handy player reference.
Think of it more as a Player Aid rather than 'Cheat' card.

The errata that Chad has indicated would be changed is...
This card lists two Hidden Entrenchments and one Hidden Pillbox whereas the American Fate deck has three of the former and none of the latter. The Fate deck is correct.

I am glad I bought mine right after Christmas. But, one side of a counter sheet is misprinted (when punched, the name and morale are cutoff). I sent email to GMT the day after I got the package so I hope they have some spares!!!

Michael.

I'm sure they have but just to confirm I'd suggest you 'speak' to them personally using their excellent new web-site's on-line chat facility.

Go here... http://www.gmtgames.com/
and click on the 'Chat Live' icon in the top-right hand corner of the page and 'talk' to one of their employees directly.
Piece of mind and (hopefully) replacement countersheet in the post.

Look in the files section. I uploaded a corrected version of the US cheat card.

Thanks. They sent me email yesterday saying the new counters will go out today. Great customer service so far!

Surely considering how well it has done it will just be reprinted in a few months just like C&C Ancients was.
