With the introduction of the new CBT box set, my interest in CBT has been renewed.

Which edition of the boxed starters also contained plastic minis?

(I know that it is not 2nd ed. That was my first set.)
I believe this ed was released around 92 or 94.
Any help is appreciated.

It was the third edition. The one with the Warhammer on the box cover (the one in the above pic). I bought it when I was in seventh grade. Still use the figures.

yes it was the third edition, i still have it, re colored the minis up to a good detail.
Included to that there was a small box that was selling at the time of third edition that was named "plastictech" or something like that, it included additional 12 or 14 battlemechs in plastic.

The version I got back in the day (1985 maybe) had that same Warhammer picture on the box but did not include plastic minis (it had the cheap folding cardboard stand-ups).
