Hegemony (2HP) in its race to the noth has driven too far, running into open battle between Moloch (2HP) and The Outpost (7HP) like burrito into starving Mexican's jaws. Now Hegemony can go through only over their dead bodies. As usual.

Your hand is shown below (discard one tile):
1. Move.
2. Quartermaster.
3. Officer II.

Uncle Meppo advices:
1. Dead don't shoot.
2. No need to hurry.
3. Meppo loves combos.

Can you please be more clear on what we actually have to do? Destroy both opponents' HQs in one battle?

Decrease hit points of both (Moloch adn Outpost) HQs to zero and don`t let them kill you. There is no allies, so you work on yourself.

In addition: Moloch has 2 HP, Outpost has 11 HP, and you have 2 HP (harder version of this quiz)

The universal soldier adjacent to the Outpost HQ turns to face the moloch HQ for free with the transport tile. With the move tile the other universal soldier moves NE to target the outpost module and kill it on initiative 4. Thus the other universal soldier, with the help of the melee=range module, will deal three damage to the moloch HQ on initiative 3.
Move the runner south and turn him to hit the Outpost HQ for 2 damage. 6 more damage come from the moloch shooter who shoots for 2 points, three times.

For the more difficult variant, i think that the guard will have to make the killing blow to the moloch HQ since you need the 3 points from the top universal soldier to reach 11 damage to the outpost HQ. I will think about it and tell you tomorrow.

The one with the Outpost HQ at 7 points, I was able to solve.

Spoiler (click to reveal)
1. Place the Quarter Master between the Universal Soldier and the Guard connected to the Guard.
2. Use the Runner's mobility to move him one space to the S facing the Outpost HQ.
3. Use the Transport module to move the Boss module one space SW connecting to the Universal Soldier in the southernmost hex.
4. Place Officer II where the Boss module was linking to the Guard.

Resolving the battle:
Initiative 4 - Southern Universal Soldier kills Moloch Net Fighter north of it by ranged attack, freeing the Outpost Commando and the Outpost HQ.

Initiative 3 - Northern Universal Soldier deals (aided by HQ) 3 damage Moloch Juggernaut killing it; Outpost Commando kills Moloch Armored Hunter in the SE

Initiative 2 - Hegemony Runner (aided by HQ) deals 2 damage to Outpost HQ, Moloch Stormtrooper (aided by HQ) deals 2 damage to Outpost HQ and Hegemony Guard (via Quarter Master and aided by Officer II) deals 2 damage to Outpost and Moloch HQ, reducing Outpost HQ to 1 and destroying Moloch HQ.

Initiative 1 - Moloch Stormtrooper deals 1 damage to Outpost HQ destroying it.



This is as far as I get with the Outpost HQ at 11 points until now. Still doesn't solve it fully...

5. Use the Transport module to move the Boss module one space SW connecting to the Universal Soldier in the southernmost hex.

Initiative 1 - Moloch Juggernaut kills Universal Soldier north of it; Moloch Stormtrooper deals 2 damage to Outpost HQ reducing it to 1.

Initiative 0 - Hegemony HQ and Moloch Stormtrooper deal a total of 3 damage to Outpost HQ destroying it; Outpost HQ deals 1 damage to Hegemony HQ reducing it to 1.

Thus it turns out Hegemony: 1, Outpost: destroyed, Moloch: 1

Still don't see how to reduce Moloch to 0 also....
