Zev,

Just saw this bag on your website, and I am confused about what is actually in the bag. It appears that some of these tiles may be 2-sided, with different pieces on each side. So when you say "1 Acoustic Mirror" and "1 Quad Flak", are you indeed getting two different 2-sided tiles, or just one 2-sided tile? Are the RR Flak tiles 2-sided and are you indeed getting 2 tiles here? Can you give us a complete unit count of how many "tiles and other things" are in the bag?

Also, can you give us some help on what the following tiles do

1 Skilled Gun crew?
1 Ju88 night fighter plan (did you mean plane? if so, does it have its own plastic stand, and what does it do?)
1 The Walls Have Ears?
1 3-5 player variant (is this a rulebook?)

Thanks!

***Ok, was finally able to break open a pack. This is what you get:

2 RR flak. They are both double-sided but one side depicts in the inactive flak and theo ther the active flak.

1 British QF - indeed on the other side of this tile you get the searchlight, but this hs the rules for the QF

1 British searchlight - see the British QF - but you get the rules for the searchlight.

1 Quad Flak - on the other side is the Acoustic Mirror but this has the backing board with rules to the QF

1 Acoustic Mirror - see above but contains rules forthe mirror.

So in all you get 6 ground defense object tiles, which comes out to 2 each of the different ground objects: 2 RR Flak, 2 Acoustic Mirrors, 2 Quad Flaks, etc.

The Walls Have Ears! - this gives you coat of arms tokens that you can use to choose your target and prove to your opponent that that was your target. Also, contains rules for the British to give the Germans 5 coat of arms (one of them being the target) to help narrow the cities of attack: the German player can rearrange any 5 defense objects with this new knowledge.

Also, you can use these crests to make the British player pick a random target for the night, offering more strategic choices to work around the weather condition.

3-5 player variant: this gives the ability for more players to play as they take individual German fighters. COmes with wooden markers and a score chart to mark individual achievement so that if the Germans win, you can determine who among the Gemran players did the best.
Also, comes with 2 MW50 fuel markers.

Skilled Gun Crew: silver and gold medals are awarded depending on flak damage given to a bomber on a single turn. Both medals, when awarded, can be placed on the board and count as flak. The Silver medal does 2 damage against the bomber while the gold does an additional 1 damage against the Mosquito.

JU-88 - this is a new plane that comes with a plastic stand. It also has a fuul gauge (with 10 lines of fuel) and an observer badge. The observer badge allows you to ignore the cloud cover penalty twice in the game (once for the bomber's inbound flight and once for its outbound flight).

Fnally, there is an extra bomb marker included in the bag, too.

Thanx, Zev. I was very happy to hear you get two of each double-sided tile, six in all. So when I spotted this at my FLGS this afternoon I had to buy it! I wanted to make just a couple additions to your descriptions...

This seemed like an odd title for a feature, but once you know what it does, it´s pretty cool. This expansion is a set of 11 cardboard tiles with the crests of one of the target cities on the front side, and blank on the back. The idea is... after the British decides on a target city to bomb, they select that city´s tile from the set and turn it face down. Then the British player selects four more tiles, and gives all 5 tiles to the German player(s). This will help (?) the Germans narrow down the choice of cities to defend. ¨The Walls Have Ears¨ meaning... intelligence has tipped the German´s off to one of 5 cities that will definitely be the target. The Germans can now rearrange their defenses, except bunkers, to take advantage of the new intel.

As Zev points out, an alternate use for the tiles is to allow the British player to randomly select his/her target city for the night, with one re-draw if the first choice seems too difficult. The idea being British command is telling you what your first/second targets are, with little to no say in the matter.

The cardboard score chart has four tracks, one for each of four colored markers, numbered 1 to 10. It allows the Germans to keep their individual scores separate from one another. The markers are wooden and about 1/2¨ tall.
