Got this last week (at 49SEK~7USD) and now had the chance to try it out for the first time with Erik.
We managed to get 4 games over with in about 1.5h, playing each side twice.
Erik won the first one after getting Frodo past everyone except Saruman who was in Mordor. That of course meant that he won, because if Saruman attacked Frodo would retreat into a position where Saruman couldn't get him, or if he didn't attack Frodos entrance to Mordor would itself end the game.
Second game ended after I managed to sneak Frodo off onto the left side and everything else in the middle/right of the board.
Third game was the only that the dark side managed to win. Poor Frodo managed to meet the Warg in the mountains at the same time only having a '3' card available to play.
Fourth game was quite notable for it's opening: The dar players first four attacks were not quite useful. First he sent the Nazgûl to attack Legolas. Then The Orcs attacked Gimli. The Balrog encountered Boromir and finally The Witch King made a move right into the waiting Merry... Erik was quite devastated and didn't have much of a chance after that leaving the board wide open for me.
Erik 1 win, 2p
Hakko 3 wins, 8p
The final verdict was that this was a quite nice game that we both wanted to play more.
Rating 8/10 (so far, needs more play)
