During AFV combat, when the AP diff. number is say 3 , if a 1 OR 2 is thrown a k-kill is the result?According to the K-KILL Table (C1), an AP differential of +3 yields a Burn on 1 or 2, a K-KILL on a 3, 4, or 5, and a POSS K-KILL on a 6. Rolling a 7, 8, 9, or 0 (read as 10) yields no consequence. Effectively, the round hit the target, but didn't do enough damage to warrant further consideration. As you can see from the table, the greater the differential, the more likely (and severe) the damage.
See Rule 12.5.134, K-KILL Results, for the detailed treatment of using the K-KILL Table.
