1861 scenario.

With no 3pt cards in thier hand the Union was unable to push the rebs from manasses, that spring was spent attempting to sway neutral states politically. Naturally the rebels countered and soon both (of the important) neutrals were deadlocked.

With summers' new recruits came new armies. The federals made the army of tennessee in ohio clearly threatening kentucky and the heart of the confederacy. Johnny reb countered with a corp in middle kentucky ready to slow the federal army. The rebels then consolidated thier virginia forces and formed the army of northern viriginia . Union forces took peducah and probed the strength of the rebel forts guarding the passages into tennessee. With strategic placement of the rebel corp Kentucky was convinced to join the confederacy.

The fall turn saw the federal rearange thier forces with more troops poised to crush the rebel corp protecting kentucky, seeing an opportunity the rebels pulled some of their rear guard troops (blockade ports/forts) to further reinforce the army of northern virginia and armed with thier new cavalry general were a very capable force, they marched north out of manasses and easily swept aside the meager union force there, general mcdowell was too slow to intercept them (rolled high) and thus Washington was laid bare... The Beauregard and his rebels marched in and a hard won victory was thiers!! Washington DC burned in the fall of 1861 as did 30 union sw!

Spring of 1862 and badly needed reinforcements gave the rebs enough troops to make the army of tennessee, which was quickly attacked by the union army of tennessee and was pushed back with light losses. The rebels marched around cutting off the union army. The union army then doubled back using the same path the rebs took and cut off the rebel army! The federals pressed thier advantage, but were tired and disorganized from the long march (rolled low) and the rebels were itching for a fight and so even without supply were able to beat back the union army. Both armies suffered significant casualties, leaving the federal army with a single SP and the rebs with a mere 3 SP's. But the rebels attacked seeing a chance to destroy the union army and with it went another 10 (or 15? I forget) SW...

Summer of 1862, was mostly a rebuilding turn, but Beauregard did manage to raid maryland and thus gained 5SW and the union lost another 5SW and so at the end of the Summer of 1862 Lincoln was forced to sue for peace.

Me=Johnny reb ended with 105 SW
Him=Union ended with 51 SW
