Re:Counter attack reinforcement questions
Rick, or anyone else who knows:
Can the ground unit allowed to reinforce a battle as part of a defender's counter attack SA be brought in from across a strait?
If so, can it be an armor unit (normally, only infantry can cross a strait into a contested area)?
Yes - it can be armored
Would the original attacker get a hit bonus against the appropriate class of units?
No - the reinforcing unit is crossing into a friendly-controlled or an already contested area, so the straits hit-bonus would not apply.
Thanks for the help.
You're quite welcome,
