When cutting through a hedge, can you cut through the 'thick' hedges which surround (generally) the target spaces, or are you limited to only chopping through the 'thin' hedges between otherwise co-located tiles?
Put another way, can you cut through a hedge that IS the square, or can you only cut through hedges on the edges?
Q: Is there a limit on the size of the hedge through which the Gardener can cut?
A: No. If the hedge runs through contiguous squares, the Gardener can cut through the entire length or width, no matter how long or slim the hedge. However, the Gardner can’t hop out of a hedge mid-way through. Once used, the Gardener Card retires, face down, for the rest of the game.
