Rotten Tomatoes compiled its list of the top 50 movie cars, in order of importance. Wait'll you see how low they placed Bullitt's Mustang:

Bullitt's Mustang should be in the Top Ten and the n00b Speed Racer shouldn't even be on the list to 50 Most Memorable Movie Cars yet.

Also without looking at the list...

Batmobile
The car Sonny gets swiss cheesed in
Ecto-1

Man...this is hard.

The Delorean and Aston-Martin had better be in the top 3.

Of course...if TV were included the General Lee and KITT would bump everyone down a couple pegs.

The 2nd biggest thing about the list that irritates me is using cars from TV shows. I don't care if they made some lame big screen version. Those cars do not belong on the list! (The BIGGEST thing about the list that irritates me is having lame cars ranked higher than true classics! (I can see the DeLorean in the top 5. BUT NOT the General Lee.)

Was there a big screen Dukes? I guess there was the recent abomination that I repressed...it's not that one is it? Tell me there was an original.

Otherwise the Magnum P.I.Ferrari would have topped the list somewhere up there, and the A-Team Van.

I agree. And don't forget the sports car (can't remember the make/model) from Hardcastle and McCormick! (If it were a TV/movie list, natch.)

It didn't make the final cut but I've always had a soft spot for the AC Shelby Cobra.

I'm going to go look at the list, and if the Goldfinger limo that gets cubed with the mobster inside it is not there, somebody will wish they'd never gotten out of bed....

Hell yes, I remember!
I thought this car was so cool. Seeing it now, all I see is a 70's disco cheese grater. No style. The right hand steering is pretty cool, though.

Can't believe they left out the Police Spinner from Bladerunner.

Not even an honorable mention.

They left out the rocket car from Rat Race. (and the ones from Cars)

Other than that all the cars I thought of at least made honorable mention.

The top ten was enough for me (Ferris Buehler? Really?), but I wonder if they included the make-out car from Titanic. Best hand print EVAR.

And what about the Thunderbolt Grease-Slapper?
