So far all of the implementations are awesome. Just finished a very enjoyable game of Acquire and a couple of Guillotine. Better games available here than any place outside of BSW.

I just did a Vegas Showdown and it was spot on. I wonder how much this service will cost eventually as well as what games we may see?

In-game interface is tremendous, but the GTO lobby system is not my favorite. I guess one can't have it all.

It's been posted no less than 3 times, in various parts of BGG.

But as long as it gets more gamers over to the excellent (currently-free) implementations, than I say make it a sticky in General Gaming!

Unless they keep it free... I'm not going to bother.

There are a LOT of better games on BSW anyway.

I just tried the implementation of Acquire and I was very impressed with it. Great fun!

A little strange to me, though, that they would use the 1999 edition's imagery instead of that of the upcoming reprint. But I guess it wouldn't be hard to skin after the release.

Is this site turn-based or do you have to play the entire game in one sitting?

The games seem to have been made by Gametable online (http://www.gametableonline.com/) and they charge $5 a month

I had the dual processor, and had to click on it to 'turn it on' so that it became possible to use it.

Never got to use the howitzer, though I expect it would ask me at time of laser fire if I got into that position.

Only complaint on RoboRally (now that the java is installed) is that many times I was programming the wrong bot! Some way to differentiate YOU from 'everyone else' would be preferred.

I tried it out and it was slow as snot on a cold day. The 'chat' room just hung and didn't load. It would take 30 seconds for my clicks to register with the java interface.

Plus I like the first RoboRally not the reprint with the plastic pieces.

The quick game I played of Acquire ran perfectly. No issues with the Java client and the whole thing was very responsive.

I ran it with Firefox on OS X 10.5. Java version 1.5.0_13.

"Download stalled"

...as "Master of the Obvious" would say. Once you get them downloaded, they're pretty good. I've only tried RoboRally, Vegas Showdown, and Guillotine so far, but I enjoyed them. Still, you need to start the download and then go do something else for a while.

I couldn't get it to work on my Mac. Downloaded a Java upgrade, nothing changed. All that happens when I click is that a file named [myusername].jnlp gets downloaded to my desktop, and when I click that I just get "Couldn't start Robo ."

Pity. Robo Rally is the only game I woulc consider playing on the net.
