Poll: The neverending Lannister Poll
Is the gameplay balanced in respect to the Lannister starting position with adjusted Court Track and Ports?
1. Was it broken in the first place?
2. Yes, those tweaks got it balanced.
3. No, it's still broken and will never be fixed.
4. No, it's still broken but can be fixed with some official expansion rules.
5. No, it's still broken but I just fixed it with a simple houserule.

We use the ports and the official change to the King's Court track, but we also have a couple house rules that we use to help the situation:

1) We moved the sea border between Ironman's Bay and The Golden Sound that runs into the middle of Riverrun. We moved it up so that it meets at the border of Seagard and Riverrun, so Riverrun is not accessible by ship from Ironman's Bay.

2) We change the Knight for Greyjoy (and Baratheon) into Footmen. This evens out the starting values for all of the Houses since Greyjoy and Baratheon have 2 ships.

Yes it was broken (clearly).

The fix means that its not clearly broken on turn 1 (there is a set of Lannister moves such that they survive).

However, it is still broken in the longer term, as there is nothing Lannister can do to prevent their loss in the long term, if Greyjoy plays well.

There is a good and simple fix which is to remove Greyjoy and Pyke from the map. This means the game plays with only 4 players base game / 5 players with one expansion.
