I have to post this embarassing session because all I could do was laugh and congratulate my son when it was over. The Extension came in the mail on Wednesday and last night was the first chance we had to play it. My son was playing as Mr. Jack and he placed Sherlock Holmes next to one of the exits without a cordon and started laughing, obviously (or so I thought), very happy with himself now that the pieces can be placed anywhere on the board. (I call him "Poker-Face" because the first time we played poker he started rubbing the cards on his face and going "Woo-Hoo" because he thought he had a good hand.) Most of our previous games that we have played and he was Mr. Jack, I can catch him looking directly at the guilty suspect when you have to ask if he/she is revealed. When he started laughing because he had Holmes near an exit I immediately figured Holmes was guilty and called him on it. He started whining a little bit and acted like I was right. We set up the rest of the board and I placed Lestrade close enough to Holmes and hoped that I drew him on the first turn. I did, and accused Holmes of being Mr. Jack, then he turns over the suspect card and it is John Pizer! He started laughing saying that he finally got me. My jaw dropped to the floor, I started laughing along with him, and gracefully shook his hand and let him know it was a "GOOD GAME"! (I'm so proud of my sneaky little boy).

He's definitely learning. I did learn that I have to keep a close eye on him.
