Want lists can be seen here:

http://home.earthlink.net/~anglotiger/36hr_wants.txt

In case anyone's at all dubious that my three trades weren't kosher, you can see the timestamp on my submission and Jeff can confirm that it hasn't been altered.

You make me sad. Just when I think I don't have to worry about shipping for a while, you come along and tempt me again.

And I thought we were friends. devil

Jack, this is awesome. And Carl, you're awesome too, even though you haven't run one of these in a while. I just want to tell you both how much I appreciate your efforts. Without you guys, I'd have big piles of crappy games nobody wants. Now I only have small piles of crappy games nobody wants!

Thanks Steve. I'm sure I'll run another one...eventually. Right now it's nice just to take part and not worry about the hassles!

This time around, I'm browsing through the games right in the OLWLG. Ahhhhhh. It's much easier this way.

I know there must be at least ONE of you out there who wants to put a copy of Airships into this math trade. It's only a matter of time........refresh.....refresh....

Thanks for running this trade. I love the short form math trades.

yup, coolstuffinc closeout

folks, remember to use +altname+ very short description -altname- for your "Outside the Scope of BGG" and "Misc Game Acc" items... it's going to not only help you in the OLWLG, but also those putting your items on their want lists in the OLWLG.

also reminder that you need to be explicit about shipping policy or it's implied you are being both most liberal and generous (ie. shipping worldwide for free [at your cost]).

And I'm hoping someone puts on a copy of Flowerpower, and someone else a 2nd edition Antiquity (which is what I'd like for my Roads & Boats 3rd edition).

Yes, I got mine in the FITS event too - about a week before the big sale at that Jeff refers to. What rotten timing. The only reason I even had it on my want lists was because I thought it would be easier to trade than what I gave up (which I'd been sitting on for a while).

Bummer in my case is that I had picked up a couple copies for trading when I thought I was getting a good deal at 40% off MSRP (given that everyone else was selling at only 20% off due to mayfair vertical market price fixing agreements).

Think I'll be sitting on them for a few years while the trading supply thins up

Whenever the timezone isn't mine... I have to write it out for myself.
Key dates (all times below PST) - ie Oregon
Open for posting games: Now to Thursday, June 26th, 2pm (pst)
Want list submission period ends: Thursday, June 26th at 7:30pm (pst)
Results posted: (by) Thursday, June 26th at 8:30pm (pst)

Side Note: Only 5 hours for want lists?
I realize this is a clean-quick math trade (bravo!)... but what about the poor saps who are stuck in traffic/sitting through a board meeting/driving to the in-laws.... Most of the hours from 2 to 7:30pm, for me, will be taken up at work.

Note that you can be working on your want lists starting right now (even before adding your own items into the MT) using the OLWLG. The 5 hour window at the end should really just be considered time to submit your wants (via the OLWLG).

Someday I hope to actually have the OLWLG even support submitting wants even before the geeklist is locked down and the official submission period opens (right now the tool needs the lot names, and unless we use the unique non-changing item id's instead the geeklist ordinal position numbers, it can't).

Re: The 36 hour trading extravaganza discussion - OLWLG use required

Not that it matters to me, but given the recent discussion of linear vs. scaled priorities, I would point out there is an inconsistency in the trade rules/description:

In the first section of the rules, there is this (italics are mine): "We will be using TradeMaximizer 1.2c here with duplicate protection and scaled prioritization, so the order of your want lists will matter."

But in the "Other Useful Information" section of the rules, there is this (italics are mine): "Software Used: TradeMaximizer 1.3a with duplicate protection and linear prioritization."

Thanks Greg. That's a cut & paste error - I copied this from the FITS event where I tried scaled priorities, just to see what happened. I changed the description in one place but not both. I'll change that now.

And I'm trying to help with that by resynching the OLWLG with the geeklist frequently, although I'll be away from the computer for much of this evening.

I'll try to continue with the frequent resynching tomorrow.

Thanks guys!
Yes, I realize we can be working on our lists already, but there is still that last half-hour rush of game entries that occurs...

But I'm truly not complaining here! I love these things.
Again, bravo Jack for hosting this!!!

Any chance of adding the word "Trade" to the title of the GeekList?

I search for new trades both by looking in the trade forum and by searching for the word "Trade" in GeekLists. If anyone does just the latter, they will miss out on the trade. And we wouldn't want that.

Is anyone else getting an empty Step 3 in the OLWLG?

I'm getting this in step 2:
Active Math Trade(s)

* unknown (by ) [statistics] [step 4]

edit: Added info on step 2.

Never mind it seems to have fixed itself.
