Hey, get your stinking cursor off my face! I got nukes, you know.
Hi Guys, me again.
I just want to make sure I'm getting this Land Combat right. Seems quite important really...
1) Am I right in thinking that any number of units can attach an adjacent hex? EG: As the Germans I want to attack an Russian INF unit in hex 2638 and I can do so with my 2 INF units in Hex 2639 and a MECH unit in 2738?
2) Also when you fly the ground support mission do you physically move all the bombers, escorting fighters and CAP to that russian INF hec 2638, resolve the air to air combats, removing and destroyed airplanes. Then fly all the fighters back to where they started. Then resolve the land combat and then fly the bombers back?
Thanks in advance!
1. Yes, any unit adjacent to the hex being attacked may contribute to the attack. But they aren't required to - one unit in a hex could attack while another unit does not, or even attacks vs a different hex.
2. Not quite. Do air battle, determine what bombers get thru, add their offensive/defensive values. Then all aircraft land before rolling combat dice.
