Well I been watchin' while you been coughin, I've been drinking life while you've been nauseous, and so I drink to health while you kill yourself and I got just one thing that I can offer... Go on and save yourself and take it out on me

My fiance and I played this last night and I rolled over her. I was Human and she was Orc. I think honestly that she wasn't aggressive enough. But I'm wondering if there is any good strategic advice out there that could help her be more successful. I really like this game and I can't wait to play it again, so I'm hoping I can give her some help to make her competitive.

I'd like to add ...

I've recently got the game+expansion from a sale and played one 2-player game so far. Me orcs, friend elves. How can you win with orcs? They have great infantry, really powerfull, but because they are the last to fight, they get wiped away by the flyers/artillery before they even get a change! Is this game thát unbalanced ... or am I doinging something significantly wrong?

Whenever i play orcs, i use some ranged and flying units to cause some casualties first, and use them as casualties. then when melee comes, i have all of my troops and slaughter them, even worse if i got a shaman (ranged lv3) to cast bloodlust and a hero/cards!

I agree, flying and melee units work well with Orcs. Besides using them as casualties, you can use the flying to swoop in quickly (using their 2 movement) to attack unsuspecting enemy units and use your melee to clean up as flanking units.
