Currently, each type of notification in the Updated Games e-mails are in a different layout making it difficult to figure what game the notification relates to. Added to that is the full URL display which gives more visual clutter (how many people really care what the text of the URL is?).
An article "Can you VETO the King's move from the pile 5 card?", has been added to El Grande: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/article/2489193#2489193
Link: http://www.media-mania.de/index.php?action=rezi&p=11&id=5384 - "German review on Media-Mania.de", has been added to Ponte del Diavolo.
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/354419 - An image has been added to Kahuna.
I suggest the following improvements.
1) make each line consistent in layout
2) remove the displayed URL and replace it with a hot-link on type of notification
e.g. (square brackets indicate a hot-link)
El Grande, [article] "Can you VETO the King's move from the pile 5 card?"
Ponte del Diavolo, [link] "German review on Media-Mania.de"
Kahuna, [image] #354419
Medieval Merchant, [session report] "Billy Bob's gaming group German slug-a-thon"
The e-mail notices for grognard.com were similarly confusing but thankfully Alan Poulter adopted my suggestions making them highly readable.
Thanks for reading,
