With any amount of players this game shouldn't take more than 45 minutes.

I've played 11 times, with anywhere from 2 to 5 players, and in my experience games are usually about 50 to 60 minutes... it'll take longer if you have AP prone players though.

Sorry... AP stands for Analysis Paralysis

Players are said to be 'prone' to Analysis Paralysis, if they take a long time to have their turn because they are analysing all the possible combinations of options.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analysis_paralysis#Board_games

Certain games are more likely to induce AP because of the nature of the decisions in the game, and Fearsome Floors falls into that category.

We play with a 30 second timer as it fits the theme better. If a player fails to complete his move in time, he is terrified and freezes in place.

With 4 players you'll get through this in an hour. I tend to pull this out when there are larger numbers (5-7 players) as the chaos is greater and suits the game. But with larger numbers there are more possibilities and analysis paralysis can slow some people and gameplay down.

But for 4 players it will move quickly.
