Well another Thursday has gone by and we finished the 3 player tournament scenario tonight.

One question came out of it:
1) Can a neutral player attack a fleet of corsairs at sea?
eg the Ottomans and Habsburgs are not at war. The corsairs are roaming the med attacking ports in different sea zones. Can the Habsburg fleet set to sea and attack the Corsairs? Or can they only defend in the Piracy phase?

The game saw the Protestants finish strongly, completing all three bibles in the last turn with an active printing press. The pope went after the English with Gout foiling assaults, an Irish foreign war, burning Cloverdale and the Pilgrimage of Grace creating havoc in England. At least now we now why all keys start with an SP in it. No Book Burnings on the last turn cost the Pope dearly in VP(as did his inability to get a hit on Florence in 4 assaults). The Habsburgs failed to engineer a war between France and England and suffered the consequences.

No, you can not attack corsairs at sea unless you are at war with the Ottoman.
