I didn't notice this until I began setting up the first scenario, but the hex pattern is extremely hard to see. Oh its real clear in the rule book's scenarios; there its black hex shapes on an almost white background. But on the board its a medium olive green hex pattern superimposed on a field of only slightly darker olive green. Maybe that's fine it you're playing in bright sun light, but in normal home lighting its makes set up a real chore.

I just looked at a photo of the board for Clash for a Continent. It uses black hex lines on a green field. Why was this high contrast approach changed for Hold the Line?
