Words or phrases that should never be used by intelligent, civilized people ever again. Each post should represent an insult to the dignity of humanity.

Fo' shizzle

Indeed.

The literati among us know that it should be rendered "fo' shizzle."

People who omit words just because they're small should definitely be flogged.

IMHO - In my humble opinion, yes it's an opinion, but openly shared opinions are inherently not humble.

With all due respect - The statement that follows almost never is respectful, and often the person being addressed doesn't deserve any anyway. It's a lazy, hack phrase from Hollywood, and sounds ridiculous in real life.

I always thought the 'H' was for 'honest.'

EDIT: And to contribute to the thread: [Blank1] is the new [Blank2]. No. [Blank1] is [Blank1], [Blank2] is [Blank2], you're just too caught up in fads to form your own opinion.

teh, pron, pwn'd, and anything 1337-speak - Yeah, we get it, you spend a lot of time on the internet. It's obnoxious in forums and even worse when you say it out loud.

Interesting. I always read it as humble. According to this 'official' poll, it's thought of both nearly equally.

But why bother? If you feel the need to point out that it's your opinion, kind of redundant, since we can safely assume if you've typed it that it's your opinion, why not go with IMO? Why tack on 'honest'? Do people often give dishonest opinions?

I imagine certain types of people do.

You're probably right, especially if you've read more than one YouTube comment. But I imagine they aren't likely to tell you when it IS their honest opinion (or use it dishonestly). One of us always lies and the other always tells the truth.... This is suddenly giving me a headache.

With all due respect, that correction makes my earlier wit-filled rejoinder post no-longer funny.

Irregardless, my post was and is still da bomb. IMHO, teh uber pwnage inherent in the joke the new inflammable bacon of teh internets.

"Too soon?" and just about any phrase that was uttered more than once on Friends.

Pretty much everything that Monty Python ever said, not because it's bad or not funny, but because I don't think I can handle one more overweight dude with poor hygiene saying "Ni, Ni, Ni" or "I'm not dead yet".

"Zero", "Flip Flop" or whatever the masses have to chant to forget that their politicians of choice are just as bad as the other guy and keep them from thinking too hard about the actual issues.

Do not refer to anything as a "puppy" or a "bad boy", unless it is an actual puppy or bad boy.

Also, I don't care if some smartass claims to have added "words" like ginormous or McJob to the dictionary. That doesn't mean you should say them. (Although I don't think anyone has ever said McJob, so that's a moot point.) We already have "gigantic" and "enormous" -- two words that mean exactly the same thing. There is no need for the non-word ginormous to be added to the dictionary.

It just goes to show that dictionary people are just as lame as regular people. I propose that whenever a word is added to the dictionary, two other words be removed.
