if all goes well i will be owning this game tomorrow, but I have a question. Is the games miniatures delivered separate like in descent or are they on spruces?

Once...
I had to prep 2 copies (punch out) in short order for a demo. My paws hurt alot... clippers are a plus!

The expansion has precut out ships, but the base game is a single sprue per color ship.

I use wire cutters as they work best.
It was very nice of FFG to have the expansion ships already punched, too bad they did not do that with the regular edition.

TI3 was a game I trade for and wasn't upset one bit that I was getting a punched copy.

Ditto Age of Mythology.

I got a copy of Battlestations! in trade thinking it was punched and the little cardboard dudes were still uncut. I was like, "MAN!"

Anyway, prepare for some cardboard clippin' fun. Get some little clippers to help or just prepare to do this over the course of a couple of days--well in advance of whatever day you're planning on playing.
