Yes, it is. But the title of the piece is "the worlds largest gaming table."

Also on his site, he also has a shot of a giant sea battle...he's definitely a gamer!

My first thought:

"I wonder what system they're using."

I am hopeless.

Since there was no smiley face I'd assume yer serious... why? Anyone's problems aside with Games Workshop... this is a great thing. Playing yer hobby whether it be 40K or FOW... it's just a pleasure to observe.

Yabba what if you want to shoot or move across one of the bays in the table? (Black hole) Fixed topography? Larger is not necessarily better, A lot of work for naught IMO.

At Liverpool Wargames Association we refought Blenheim on a table that was roughly the same length (difficult to tell as we can't see the near end of that table) and deeper than the spine of that table, but without the extraneous ribs.

Started a game of World in Flames at the club last week including the Pacific map - six players with two substitutes standing by! You up here over Christmas?

I've played on larger. Though it was on the floor, not a table. Real terrain, modelled on a specific area. As I recall, about 5 by somewhere between 30 and 50. Metres, not feet.
