1 - what is the function of the "Hold" markers? How are they used?

2 - may the Germans attempt demolition of Allied controlled bridges?

3 - in the examples of the play, the rule book indicates that the Allies can make a mandatory attack accross an enemy held bridge (EXAMPLE 8 Mandatory Assault - final note). How can movement/mandatory assault be made accross an enemy held bridge.

Thanks for your help!

1. The Hold markers are for indicating when the Allies control an unbridged canal crossing, which happens occasionally.

2. You can only blow bridges you control.

3. One can always "move" across an enemy-held bridge (except when exiting a contest area) if one has another MPs, but this always triggers a mandatory assault.
