Re:How does this play with three players
As with any 3 player elimination game, there is always the potential that 2 players will gang up on the third. The problem with doing this is that the player who actually knocks off the third player's boss will have a huge advantage if there are many of the third player's family members left. In other words, alliances and ganging up can happen but the remaining two players do so at their peril if they are not the one who finishes off the third player's boss. Whatever the dynamic, with three players you want to position yourself to either take out the next player's boss and survive thereafter or to be able to immediately win because in the possible bloodbath resulting in a boss being taken out, your remaining opponent is so weakened that you can immediately finish him off. It is this tension that should keep the players in check.
