Last game - my hand:

Duchy Curse Estate Duchy Estate

and won the game on that turn. Good times.

He's happy that with a hand that allowed him to buy nothing, the game ended while he was ahead comfortably enough that the loss of a turn did not hurt him.

It's cold outside. There's no kind of atmosphere. I'm all alone. More or less. Let me fly. Far away from here. Fun fun fun. In the sun sun sun...

Picking up the last copper (or curse) could end game with that hand, thus activating the 3 stack rule.

Did you buy the last copper and that was the third empty pile?

EDIT: Too slow.

I think taking the last Curse would be much more satisfying than taking the last Copper...

Correct - it was the last curse.

At first, I didn't think much of it. But afterwards I thought it's not every day you have zero actions, zero treasure, 2 decks depleted, and exactly 1 curse left in the deck (and are ahead so that you want to end it).
