Z as in Zombies.

Word to the wise, if you're like me and you have weird reoccurring dreams about nuclear war and tornadoes, you should probably not read "World War Z" before going to bed.

UGG...zombie

Quiet, you two! I promised myself I wouldn't start another book until I had finished two of the ones I'm working on.

It is an outstanding book, especially in his respect for the zombie genre (no fast zombies, and they don't care if they're eating brains or biceps).

Yeah, I almost always have zombie horde dreams after seeing or reading really good zombie material. Sometimes the movies are fun and adventurous, and others they're flat out nightmares about the end of the world.

What's the name of the Omnibus you have? I was looking for a good series of books, and wanted to look at the Conan books. Amazon's Conan selection is a bit overwhelming.

It's called "The Complete Chronicles of Conan",which is everything that Howard wrote about Conan. 1000 Pages, and it's a pleather bound beast.I could only find it on Amazon UK,and they do deliver to the US.

I actually did know. There has been an ongoing bidding war between Brad Pitt's movie company and another company. I think Pitt also wants to play the main role. Should be cool, if they keep it gritty.

Thanks for the book link. There looks to be a version coming out in April as well.

As far as the movie goes, I was kind of half-heartedly hoping that PBS would pick it up and get someone to imitate Ken Burns with it.

He did Babylon 5. For B5, he was pretty good at developing the beginning and middle parts of the series, but when storyline endings were pretty lame, rather anticlimactic. Has his other stuff done better with endings?
