I've been designing a trick-taking game where each card belongs to several suits. My current draft (pdf) can be found at
http://www.box.net/shared/uu7nlv624r

As I planned at the DIY forum, I ended up using LaTeX for making the cards. In case someone's interested in my LaTeX source, it can be found at
http://www.box.net/shared/4le2lglbmn

In case someone's kind enough to playtest the game, playtesting reports are more than welcome.

If there are unclear phrases in the rules, I am more than happy to clarify them. Also suggestions how to improve the game, in particular how to adjust the distribution of different ranks in the cards, are welcome.

The GPL doesn't work so well for non-code. Did you consider the various Creative Commons licenses?

Thanks for pointing out Decktet and Xataka. I was not aware of their existence. However, those decks differ from mine, since in my deck most of the cards belong to all suits, which is not true for Decktet and Xataga.

Actually I did not consider other licenses. I simply picked the first copyleft license that came to my mind. If I end up distributing the ganme seriously, I'll perhaps make a disjunctive license of all the reasonable copyleft licenses.

I just realized that there's a typo in the rules. When I describe the beating the high card rule, I wrote: equal of higher than the best so far, the player must play such a card. What should read is of course
equal or higher than the best so far, the player must play such a card. I've removed the typo from the files.
