Anyone have an idea where one can buy extra Axis and Allies pieces. Whenever I try searching google, I keep getting A&A miniatures results.

Go to Hasbro.com, Customer Service, Replacement parts. There's all four of the A&A games listed. It looks like A&A Pacific is the only one I noticed with replacement armies.

Or go to any of the Axis & Allies pages here on the BGG, and you'll see that most have "Parts for trade"

I've seen them on ebay.

My game was getting that musty smell and therefore I threw all the smelly cardboard parts away. I kept all the other pieces for 'that game' I intend to design someday.

Axis and Allies (the old big box version) turns up in thrift stores from time to time -- I've passed up quite a few in my years of thrifting.
