Anyone got a copy?
I'm curious to know what it does.

Hi William,
I have a copy dating from 1976 when I first purchased it in Johannesburg. It is a great game although now sadly out of print.
Basicaly it is a variation on chess and is not to be taken too seriously.
Check out some of the reviews and some of the comments I have made.
Kindest regards,

I have played Feudal several times and we have never taken it seriously! But it is still a fun game!

Actually, HE is referring to this here: "The General Vol.15-#5 Feudal: A New Approach" by Mike Chiappinelli and of which contains: "Alternate Rules for Combat Resolution and Movement". This were the 1st instance that I'd heard about such, so good luck on that.

GROGnads is correct.
(did I say that?!?)
I have played Feudal many times, but don't have any issues of The General.
I just purchased a set of Feudal to play with my 9yo, and the combat variant might be interesting.

I have the game and the The GENERAL Vol.15,No.5 issue that has the article by Mike Chiappinelli "Feudal: A New Approach (Alternate Rules for Combat Resolution and Movement). It gives the game a new feel. I actually like it, but I still have a few problems with the overall flow. I was never a big fan of you move all your troops then I move all my troops. Been thinking of a better way to do this with Mike's alternate rules.
