News from Nostheide Verlag, publisher of Spielbox magazine

spielbox news

Opposed to the common trend of reducing the publication dates of
magazines, we are very glad to be able to announce today that spielbox
will increase the number of its annual issues. As of 2009, spielbox will
be published seven times per year with one additional number in
September.

Editor-in-chief Matthias Hardel in the most recent issue 6/08: "Also
beyond the SPIEL in Essen there are more and more games deserving a
closer look but often not getting a chance due to lack of space...
Still there’s always more material than room to write about it. Which is
why we now draw the conclusion and change the publishing rhythm for the
second time in 28 years."

absolutely - hell, I'd subscribe if they only made the contents and archives available in English on their site (along with a way to receive the add-ons included...but, shipping a single add-on has to be cheaper than shipping the entire magazine plus add-on...)

What I always say is, if you had a website that could filter for RPGs and Video and Board Games, then you could easily filter it by language too, right...? Surely this is possible...
