It's referring to:

http://files.boardgamegeek.com/geekfile_view.php?fileid=3020...

This file 'apparently' contains a virus.

Even ESETNOD32 quarantines the file.

Maybe it should be deleted?

Looks like it's triggered by a file someone uploaded to a file section. The file either has a virus attached or has some intentional features that are tripping the virus protection. We usually do a virus check on every file before it is approved so my guess is that this is a false-alarm. I'm not at my home computer or I'd check it out myself to make sure.

--update--
Looks like it triggered alarms in AVG and some other virus protection programs as well. I've deleted the file.

Have you seen the people who post here? "Unsafe" doesn't even begin to describe it.

You're right! "Ungodly" is a better word.

Accessing the BGG site could mean that your bank account will get drained, your credit card may max out or your wallet may run out of cash... buying new games.

My advice is not to view the site - then you will never find about all those adictive games that would otherwise drain your finances.

My money will be drained away regardless of this site. Better boardgames than hookers and blow.

Yeah, well Norton sucks. It doesn't permit a lot of things to run. Its like a virus that has no cure.

Anyone find it odd that this was one of the last posts before THE EVENT!!!!

Seriously though, doubt it had anything to do with BGG down, just found the posting ironic for what happpened a day or so after.

Norton still has BGG marked unsafe. How do you get that changed? I think you should sue Norton. They do this to blackmail sites into buying virus products from them. Sue 'em I say.
