We're in double digits (twice as large a sample as before) and PoF still looks strange on both questions.
Fair enough. I still wouldn't call it a meaningful sample, nor am I surprised that the results are so inconclusive. Besides being very subjective questions to begin with (highly dependent on both the teacher and each of the students), how many of the respondents actually have substantial experience teaching all 5 games to groups of newbies?
More meaningful data could be genrated by polling each game individually, thus increasing the pool of informed respondents for each game. i.e.:
1) How suitable is GameX as a next-step game to teach to newbies?
a) Very good, most will pick it up easily
b) Okay, most will understand it well enough to enjoy themselves
c) Poor, most will struggle too much to enjoy it
d) Very poor, most will be utterly confused and/or frustrated
2) How long should one allow for a learning game of GameX?
a) 60 minutes or less
b) 60-90 minutes
c) 90-120 minutes
d) 120-180 minutes
e) More than 180 minutes
