I had a neat idea for a geeklist, a really interesting one.

Games with short villains. Not real life (Hitler) or fictional (Moleman, Penguin) villains, but game villains, where the "bad guy" or "enemy" piece is actually physically smaller than the players' "hero" pieces.

Certainly not Sauron, for example.

But I couldn't think of any game examples. Can anyone else?

What about Pandemic. Never played it, but it would seem to me the diseases would probably be smaller and diseases I would consider villainous.

Well, that's the idea, certainly. But I'm just looking at components.

In Checkers, everyone's the same size and on equal terms, but the monster comes when two are stacked one on the other (that is, bigger). In Chess the lowly little pawn can best a king, but never by himself. No, villainous components must always be the larger threat, it seems.

Does no one fear the little guy?

What about Descent: Return to Legend where the players get plastic figures and the overlord's lieutenants are represented by cardboard tokens (which are thereby flat)?
