Best way to make cards |

Hi:

I wanted to make some custom encounter cards for Runebound Second Edition. There is a good site online, with a template to do this:

Is there a way that I can make the cards so that they will fit in with the existing decks, be able to be shuffled normally and the like? In other words, is there a way to make the physical properties of the cards the same, or nearly the same, as the originals?

Try to get the paper weight as close as possible, then use colored back card sleeves. Evenly weighted cards will be easier to shuffle and you won't be able to see the backs of the cards to differentiate the original cards from the custom cards.
