I'm looking for some cool medieval or old fashioned wood or bone dice. I'm particularly fond of this one I found, although I would like it in the standard 18mm size.

Can anybody help me find these, or suggest something similar?

a) buy 2 sheep, 1 male, 1 female
b) 'introduce' them to each other
c) about 5 months later, you will have a nice set of knucklebones, packaged in a warm woolly package. Extraction is left as an exercise for the reader.

As fun a knuckle bones are, I prefer dice that roll evenly, even if made of bone!

Unless I missed something, those are only d6. The photo from the OP looks to be a d8. I can't say that I've ever seen a d8 in that configuration before.

That's a great find! ...even if Lou Zocchi refuses to wave his calipers in its general direction.

Where did you discover it?
