Zzzinity is an economic game set in Australia which successfully bridges the gap between monopoly and euro games. Lets not make any mistakes, this isn't aquire or even owners choice. But none the less there are some good mechanics mixed in with the roll and move aspect, enough to make this a great transition to heavier games.
The game is a share market game where you pick up shares in your companies as you travel the board. The companies are presumably Australian favourites, but I recognise most as a NZer and there are plenty of multinationals.
There are financial skill questions along the way that you can answer for rewards and improvements to build on your companies.
The components are pretty decent overall with good production quality. The publishers have even gone and done the extras with card holders (above) and some pretty decent plastic player markers.
The silver bars
Zzzinity is a decent family game and would do well in an economics class aswell. When someone suggests Monopoly, don't vomit, just pull this out instead. You may well open up a whole new world to someone.
