This guy must be great to have around when you are moving!

If you get the gist of it and don't feel like watching the whole thing, jump ahead to 4:30 to watch the closing moments of the challenge and the bonus stage!

I played Tetris last night. I got to level five I think. I feel woefully inadequate now.

Yeah...I used to feel like I was pretty good at Tetris. I guess I'll stick to Dr. Mario.

My father has an NES that he bought new way back when. He gets up every morning and the first thing he does is play Tetris. First he plays "B" game levels 5-9. Then he plays "A" game, levels 5- beyond. He plays until he fails. Then he pops in DR Mario and plays a similar round. He's been doing this for nearly 20 years now and he still is nowhere near this guy.

Just a note, but the guy in the video is playing the newer verion of tetris. It's not the same as the old NES version. The biggest difference being that you can save a piece for use later in this version. If you look in the upper left corner of the video, you can see the piece that he's saving at any given time. When you decide to save a different piece it pops the old one out immediately. This makes the game easier because you can save up the long straight pieces for later tetrises(?) or stash a piece that doesn't fit at a given time.

Of course this guys is still just plain awesome.
