War of the Ring had the most images of a top-20 game, but then Agricola passed it, currently with 777. I'm sad. Agricola is a nice game and all, but it's no War of the Ring.

WotR is an aggressive 2 player wargame

Agricola as a friendly multiplayer social game

Personally I am amazed that a game with so many bits can be number 1.
And lots of luck, and lots of rules . . .

They are not really comparible.
But they are both fantastic at what they are trying to do though.

I think the orginal poster was talking about No. 1 on the number of images, not rankings. Having all sorts of bits provides a lot of fodder for submitting images without modders rejecting them for being to similar to other images.

Given that, I, too, am a little surprised Agricola beats out War of the Ring or any number of other bit-intensive games.

Clearly, War of the Ring needs more bits in order to compete.

I agree, lets suggest that the Collector's edition comes with loose weapons for all the miniatures so you can customize the troops for close or ranged combat, and the Nazgûl all come with personalized headgear.

Finally the mountain ranges, forests, and rivers whould have small figures to be placed on the board.

Let us not get started on individualmodels for the Strongholds, cities and towns.

I'd be happy with new (additional) figures for Gandalf the White and Strider.
