I can't answer, because I only own Ilium. I will say, though, that Ilium is a gateway-friendly game that's fun to play. It's only real drawback is that the artwork isn't all that pretty - but if you've seen the BGG pictures, you know that already.

I've heard good things about "Around the World," too. There's a good chance that either of these games would be fine for you.

Around the World in 80 days.

Which reminds me, I've been meaning to get a copy of my own for a while.

Its a great little gateway game and my Fiancee really likes it too.

Haven't played Ilium, but Around the World in 80 Days has worked well with every one I've introduced it too...it's also one of the few Euros that I've been able to get my wife to play (and she won)...
