Make no little plans; they have no magic to stir men's blood and probably themselves will not be realized.

Any geeks going to PittCon? No, it's not a gaming convention, but a conference for science in Chicago this year...just thought there might be some geeks like me who are going for their jobs and might want to play some stuff at night. Or is there any Chicagoland gaming going on Monday night perhaps?

I was wondering about this too.Sadly it sounds like we'll miss each other. I'm attending later in the week.

Below is a list of all the organized gaming (that I know of - I'm sure there is 10 times more out there) going on in Chicago in the Month of March. Unfortunately, it looks like Monday night is open for the rest of the month, but just about every other day will keep you busy.

In order to see the locations and specifics of these you need to be a member of Chicago Boardgames Meetup Group.

I believe you can sign up here:

Hope this helps.

There are three stores in Chicago proper:

www.blacksungameschicago.com
www.cat-n-mouse.com
http://www.chicagolandgames.com/

You could probably find a game at any one of those, check with their forums, calendars or owners. They are each reasonably close to L stops too. I go to Black Sun Games more often because they are the one of those three that carries miniatures and I have enjoyed my conversations with the owners.

http://www.games-plus.com/ is also a great game store and near a Metra stop in the suburb of Mount Prospect.
