Hello,

My name is Romian, and I live in Montreal(duh! obviously...), Quebec.
I am posting this thread hoping to find new people to play with.

I own the following games: Carcassone, Twilight Struggle, Stratego (but I hate it), Conflict of heroes, Game of Thrones, Wings of War, Pandemic, Risk, Race for the Galaxy, Ave Caesar and Diplomacy...and Monopoly (I am not looking forward to play it btw).

So, If you are interested in playing any of these games with me, or if you are willing to teach me any of yours (I am a fast-learner :)) just reply to this post.

I am available on week-ends and I also speak French and Spanish.

Take care and good game!

Hi Romian,
Probably the best forum in Quebec where you can find several players is this one : http://www.dragonsnocturnes.org

Also, in next month, there are gonna be a important convention of gamers near Montreal, take a look at this website for more information : http://www.jeuxauboute.com/jab/

Hoping to see you there !

There are a LOT of gamers in Montreal.

In addition to the guys at Dragons Nocturnes, there is a group that meets downtown at Concordia university on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month. We play a mix of euros, ameirtrash, and the odd wargame. There is a meeting tomorrow at 1pm. You can see info here: http://ca.groups.yahoo.com/group/Montreal_Boardgames_Meetup_...
You can just show up and play. Very simple, very friendly.

There is also a store on the West Island called Aux Jeux that has game days a couple times per month.

That should get you into more gaming than you have time for.

Good luck!
