Hello All:

I have two separate questions regarding how to play TS:

1. Would you consider it acceptable to play with a card checklist in hand? Is this done in tourneys like the WBC? Or is it considered bad sportsmanship or an unnecessary game aid?

2. What do you think about using chess timers to speed up play? I've been playing it a lot lately and am sometimes a little frustrated with the long pauses between card plays.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

John

I've played often enough that I don't need to play with a card checklist, but I certainly wouldn't have a problem with a less experienced or new player having one on hand to help them out.

As for a timer, that's entirely up to you, but since a normal game is between 2-3 hours, unless you're going over that time limit, I wouldn't sweat it too much.
