Am I a man or am I a muppet? If I'm a muppet then I'm a very manly muppet!

Since there isn't anywhere to post scores up on the DoW site (when will that happen?!):

Scenario 1:
Allies 1
Axis 6

Scenario 2:
Allies 5
Axis 6

So far, he hasn't managed to reach any of the objectives. (Did I mention that I'm playing the Axis forces?)

Posting of AARs and scores will become possible simultaneously with the release of a major upgrade to the Scenario Editor as a whole. We don't have an exact date yet, but we hope for it to be in the next month or so.

Scenario #3:

Axis (me) 7
Allies (my son) 3

It was a tough night for him - I drew 2 Recon in Force + an Armor Assault and the section cards to back a "panzerblitz" play up.

How'd you get 7? I thought 6 medals was max for Scenario 3...

I've always finished the turn in which you get the winning number - sometimes that's more than is needed.

The good folks from DoW clarified in another post that the scenario is over the moment the victory conditions are met, so 7 would not be possible (under those conditions).

Game on!

Under this game and I think the title is when is the scenario over. Objectives being more important in the campaign games really brought this to the surface. The frustrating one is getting that 6th medal by clearing out an objective but not being able to take the ground for the 7th medal because the game/scenario is immediately over. I love the campaign book....game on!

Just to add to the results for Normandy (Flanking Caen)
5-0 Axis
6-2 Axis
6-4 Axis
6-3 Axis

No one took any objectives, so the total campaign score was 22-9.

Since this was the first time playing this campaign, I haven't decided yet if I was extremely lucky, extremely good, or the campaign is not very well balanced.

Does anyone else have Flanking Caen results to share?

1. Allies 5, Axis 1
2. Allies 6, Axis 3
3. Allies 6, Axis 4

Allies: 19 (2 obj)
Axis: 7 (-1 obj)

Unfortunately I was the Axis and the Allies was a new player. Seems like everyone else posted big Axis wins, but not here.

We finished Flanking Caen last night

Axis 6-1
Axis 6-5
Axis 6-3
Allies 6-1

No objectives for the Axis = 18
1 objective (the one he finished the scenario with!) for the Allies = 17

So...

Axis 18-17

It's a nail-biter as we proceed into "The Breakout"!

The Breakout did not go well for the Axis:

5-3 Allies
5-1 Allies
5-2 Allies

Now we're tied at 26 heading into Early Falaise.

I think I could have pulled off a win in Operation Cobra if I had drawn any center cards.

Tim, are you using Grand Campaign scoring? By my estimate, you're tied 3-3.
